I'm going to come along and have a go, my first meet/event with the MR2 so am looking forward to meeting you all there and having a bit of fun on the hillclimb course

YOU WILL DEF ENJOY IT i did it last year for the first time and so did a lot of other members. just be carefull thats all specially of OH sh!t corner. might be down there as well.

Looking forward to it! Watched a few videos of the hillclimb course and I think I know the corner you are referring to. Is it the tight right hander after a dip almost halfway through? It looks as though it will be easy to misjudge.

I've always wanted to get a racing harness, now might be a good excuse to get it... Would probably be more for looks but what you guys think of 3 or 4 pt OMP Harnesses?

Definately locks you in the car better, but needs to be installed right or it can damage your spine in an accident.
Best paired with a race seat. In fact for preference go the race seat with stock lap-sash before bothing with harnesses imho.
