purple5ive - If I had one it would be surely yours. Can I recommend popping past to Cash Converters? There are some decent name Helmets for only around $50-70.
I bought an AGV one from there for about $49.95, after a good sanatise and wash its looking pretty neat.
-------------------- Only 5 Days to Go -------------------- - Be sure to bring an ADR Approved Helmet - Wrist to ankle non-flammable clothing (cotton or wool) is required by all drivers and passengers on track. - Be sure to check all brake fluid, tyre condition, wheel nuts, oil levels, coolant levels and other safety components.
See you all there

Pressures low ~25psi if you're after maximum grip I think, your tyres won't really get any time to warm up.
Dampers you should tune to taste, don't remember HH being that bumpy so reasonably stiff would probably be ok.
But might be worth experimenting with full soft to start the day, then try to tune under/over steer throughout the day.

I remember from last time it was a good grippy surface and I don't recall it being bumpy.
A demanding course with very tight corners. I didn't get use any higher than 2nd gear, (SW20 NA) but still had a heap of fun.
Just a thought, 55 liters of petrol weighs 38kg. Should you fill up your tank after the event?

I was thinking of taking some jerry cans *Just in case*. Although I recall a certain BMI video a few years ago when a stock WRX STi (Spec-C?) started to cut out on a few corners on the Fuji circuit. Turns out as it was running low on fuel the stock fuel tank was allowing the fuel to swish around too much at the sides during high G maneuvers and it was missing the fuel pickup all together! [:u]. So it might be better to have at least half a tank anyway. Similar to the reason why track cars run "Dry Sumps"

THE BP station isn't too far away if people run out obviously will need a can or somethign so would eb a good idea to bring one
last time i remember one car overheated and needed water all the time and had to keep runnign back and forth between the toilets
bottle of coolant and oil is probably A GOOD IDEA TOO people with tyres that scrub will be in trouble. and yeah 2nd gear will get a good workout i think i got into 3rd on the only straight bit on the track but only for a second or so before havig to go back to 2nd gear

Hi guys We do have a dedicated photographer for the event.... 2 actually! Myself and a friend. We're looking forward to getting heaps of action shots from around the track plus group shots, car prep, owners and cars whatever anyone wants =) Take note that the 2 of us are also running the mr2 city night photoshoot on dec 11 for anyone that's interested check out the thread. We covered a couple of rounds of the hillclimb championship this year, our photos can be seen on the hillclimb championship website gallery page. Look for Kaye Russell and Donna Shearer
