well coming from an NA, and loving it, i have to say that this would be exactly what he wanted.
"i want this car, but with a bit more power" or "double the power" in his case.

i'm a bit jealous that i will never get to experience this car.

Yeah I'm a bit puzzled too, in the last image it says max 288 Nm, but the plot shows a max of almost 500 Nm. Care to enlighten us Mandalay?
BTW those a impressive results regardless!

Once i have it all together it will get to the track once only to record times.
Then all ill be doing is enjoying her and fine tuning.

If anyone has a dyno plot i would love to see it. Especially from Melbourne Performance as it is the same dyno

to have that large KW figure (very nice result), im in disblief it would have just 288nm of torque... (torque and kw are related) so surely this is a different way to measure torque maybe? ... like 288... if you told me this had 338nm, i would still not believe you.

im really interested to know more about the way it was measured and formulas etc.

i would think this would have a good 400nm or so.

fcuk i want this car so badly, its just pure awesome.

Had it explained but it was way too much for me to absorb.
At the end of the day he said the figure is 362 nM TORQUE.
PLEASE remember i am still running in the engine.
Also i will do a run on a dyno jet or what the hell it is because aparantly it gives a higher figure.
Im just curious if they give similar results thats all.

Been driving her today :) It really is so good. 2nd gear is absolutely a dream.
So easy to go over the speed limit. Got to watch it.
It is around 18 degrees and my charge temps didnt go over 27 degrees.
Ill have to increase the temp my Setrab Oil Cooler fans come on.
Set it too low 50 degrees. Disconnected the fan and all she went up to only 57 degrees.
So ill set the temp at 55 degrees.Given max recommended is 80 degrees
Still needs more tuning as when i blip the accelerator there is a very little hesitation.
Monitoring all the sensors is absolutely great.
AND NO LEAKS :)

The ROTREX IS A DREAM

Ok we did over 50 kms road tuning with roads all over the place.
Now i can fillay say im AS HAPPY AS PIG IN poo poo.
Man how drivable Go around lightly or just fang it , she really is beautiful
On experiment we did was when i did the dynos i had both nipples on the OEM vBOV connected. I originally didnt but i gutted out and connected them because i questioned well Toyota has it that way.
awaell we pinched the line to the BOV and guess what it went baqllistic with force.
Then i opened the pinch and disconnected the little nipple and same effect
Quite obviously it opens slightly even with boost.
Tuner said i have definitly more power than the dynos but we couldnt do one as they were painting the workshop floor for Xmas shut down. Oh well next year.
Also even though he knows that i want to keep the OEM he recommended for a little $ with definitly a gain to do the headers and still retain the sheild. More to come

Ok final pics finished engine bay.
Still making up my mine wether or not to do the engine lid thats why the TRD cross isn't in place
