Just an update on my HID Daytime Driving lights Update So i powder coated the brackets that will hold the ballasts. They have also been mounted. The location is where the pop up motor is. It has 3 bolts to hold it to the frame and i used 2 Also made a bracket to hold the LED bracket. For a really solid mount ill be using the bolt that hold the bumper steel inner support. This way it wont shake with the bumper Now im going to use balsa wood to shape the housing to cover the LED bracket

Im happy today !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Engine finished and she is in the car ! Man it was a hard 2 days. Here she is finished Big difference the original set up And going into my car Cleared everything again :) Much cleaner with straight lines compare to the previous attempt This time around i added the hoses to the Rotrex on the engine while it was out. Just cut to size when i line them up with the hard lines. Clearing the water bottle and the BOV is just under the fuse box out of sight but accessable

Already seen one with the previous set up . All you will see is a straight line to 7,600 rpm around 13 psi and around 200KW's at the wheels
Not into figures just redid it due to the fact it was restricted , but at 7 psi and 165 KW's at the wheels she was fast , very fast. Just made the Beams go evn better than it already is. Its just like adding another pair of cylinders.
The Rotrex is made for the rev happy Beams

Fantastic work Angelo! I look forward to hearing your initial impressions with your new set up. By the way I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to get in contact with you, I've been flat out lately and haven't even touched my cars.

Well im happy again :) Bleed the coolant lines, A/W recirculation and ROTREX oil lines. Drained the engine oil and refilled. Filled the gear box with Red Line Shockproof super light weight ( gee thats funky looking oil, like custard colour ) Disconnected the MoTec, took off the coil packs and took of the spark plugs. Reconnected the battery and cranked the engine uptill the engine oil pressure light went off. Then rechecked the coolant and ROTEX oil reservoir and topped up. Disconnected the battery and reinstalled the MoTec. Connected the battery and cranked her. Started first go :) Settled into idle 900 affter about a minute after the start at 1,250 rpm start procedure. Hopefully dyno this week if it stop raining

Bleed the clutch line and thought i would take her for a short drive. Timing definitly has to be advanced a bit BUT MAN i just cant believe it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The surge is just plain right out amazing. I am so in love with it. No leaks so far and all looks great The ROTREX works so damn brilliant with the BEAMS it just goes and goes. 1st gear is a waste , blink an eye and you have to change. Verdict -- well for sure but its a few bob , but forme much better than a turbo

here we go...
i was with Mandalay while we took the MR2 out for a drive
car isn't tuned at all anymore, its running a base tune, and running very rich, there is also some hesitation at low revs as the mixtures are out.
boost was at .4 bar or so, (on the dyno it was showing the full 1 bar)
was only useing about 50% throttle, and shifting at 6000 RPM
(he was also driving like a girl)
pulls amazing, there is no SUDDEN rush in power, its all even from down low up until whatever he took it to.
now, in 2nd after around 4000 you are pushed back into the chair, but its not sudden its gradual, feels stock, none of this skyline neck snapping boost kick, which is useless...
driving the car gently, you don't notice there is that much power, but when you gun it, you feel it.
