$175 for a reco + pulling it out. Alt is back out again. Regulator is the culript by the looks of it ( Thanks to Trav (Kameleon) ;) for your advice to Danny :) ) My front rotors are a touch warped, so it's time to replace them... so got a set of willwoods from Soaren1 (Thanks Joshua) can't wait for those to arrive (most likely Friday or Monday). It'll be interesting to see if the brakes clear the rims. :P if not they'll be up for sale again :p The Enkeis I had on the supra (17" +42 offset 9" wide (I think)) cleared the supra TT brakes which were huge. These ones are 17" +38 8" wide I think, so it'll be close I reckon. :P either way I'll be test fitting calipers and rotors, before d/cing the existing brakes.

Wilwoods sound like massive overkill unless you are tracking the thing lol I heard that generally Enkeis have huge clearance for brakes, and looking at mine (Enkei Racing S 17s +35) with later model front calipers rotors, there's probably still a couple inches spare between the wheel and caliper. My old Starcorp wheels needed spacers FFS to clear the later model brakes -no good!

LOL Yes they are total overkill.... but this is how I justified it.... $550 for the willwood setup (pads, discs, calipers AND braided lines) delivered vs new discs (RDA ebay stuff) - $200 delivered (I'd personally go DBA but whatever) so roughly $350 more But that also gets me bradided lines, and much better brakes. Braided lines for the front would also cost around $100. So we're looking at $250 difference to get massive brakes! Not to mention I'm fairly sure the rotors are the premium ones with hats. Plus more surface area, means longer lasting braking (assuming the same rate) and supra TT brake rotors are not much more than MR2 ones :) Very happy. Will see what the rear brakes condition is. edit: sorry to hear that the starcorps didn't clear the brakes. :( the enkeis were one of the rare 17" rims to clear the supra TT front calipers, but there was VERY little room. I would recommend these as a fantastic wheel for track use on a supra :)

I agree, it does suck that you have to pay, but meh... it's only money. If money was the issue, I wouldn't drive an MR2 :p so are you undecided if your gonna enter this year? or u mean next year?
