chuck spacers on and be done with it or go back to stockies. A toms body kit would be nice. You also hae all the guages ready for a piggy ecu for some tuning do you not?

why does it need spacers?
it looks fine how it is. you dont want the wheels poking out.

aparantly the offset is wrong and it's not steering right. I don't knowif it needs to go in or out though.

surok - yeah mate, i thought about just polishing it up..would make the yellow SW look very fresh and new.. but i'd like to play around with the colours and see how it goes..
also surok.. did you mention you could source a set of front clear indicators? I NEED THEM.... shoot me an email mate.

aggitator - full tom's kit has always been something i wanted, but i rather not going onto body kits.. i love the stock body lines of it already.. but who knows, if i bump into a set which is affordable i don't see why not

also what do you mean by; the offset is wrong and it's not steering right?
the advans are 16x7 +35, 16x8 +37 from my memory.. staggered setup.. seems quiet fine fitment for the SW20 without any rubbing (unlike my previous TE37s)
don't mind running more aggressive tho..

Hey nic, nice wheels, I reckon they would look hot in full black or even a bronze colour similar to your TE37s but even if you kept them the way they are now they still look heaps good

I'm in the process of reconditioning 16" Super Advan 2piece Rims that I bought recently to use as spares for my car, I might do a red / black combo or keep the lip silver with a gold centre, but still havn't decided, there are way too many colour options in my mind for Advans lol

either way, you will have lots of fun fixing these wheels up , good luck mate

hey george, no doubt black would look nice, but i'm quiet over black/bronze/gun metal wheel colours, just like to try something alittle different on these ADVANS.. i'll see how things goes

make sure you post up and show us your advans once they're on

I love advan tri-spoke rims, they suit the sw20. How different do you want to go? Takata green would look good with yellow. Hehe. Polished would look the goods.

Ah, found the picture I was thinking of with the green and yellow colour scheme. I know it's a completey different car, and doesn't even have the same wheels. But it's certainly different, and I think it looks great.

nahh takata green on te37s,, NSX style takata green on anyother rims is just tryhard..

i vote polish them
it will cost about 300 a rim. or you can do it yourself for the cost of 6 tubes of metal polish.

The ADVANS were in really bad condition.
Scratches everywhere and clear coat peeling off.. and also gutted tyres
so the stockies were slapped back on and i decided to refurbishing the wheels to its good state and paint them a different colour.
after 3 and half weeks of my spare time working on the advans and deciding which colour i should go for, they are finally finished and wrapped in a set of fresh bridgestone adrenaline RE001..

heres a teaser pic;

can someone point out what colour i painted them?

more pics will be up soon.
