cool stuff Rob, it should look great with those sideskirts you already have.
where do you get stuff like this painted up to match the car? i have never bought body parts because i thought painting would cost 3 times as much as the lip.

Any reputable panel beater should be able to colour match anything you like, the cost all depends on the quality and how picky you are, I got a whole engine cover resprayed and colour matched to my car for under $150 so painting a lip should'nt cost that much at all

I have also spoken to Ken from Shine, he is getting back to me with shipping prices once he knows how many people will be buying parts.

He couldnt tell how long it would take.

it's good to get an idea of ppl's opinions on here but I agree with jpaudio, it's your car so at the end of the day if the mods you do to it make you happy then who cares what anyone else thinks

Thanks Geo
I'm not trying to do what everyone else wants...I've always loved the Aeroware lip but I thought they were near impossible to come by at a reasonable price. Now that this group shipment option has come up, I'm 100% going ahead with the Aeroware lip!
I also just took lots of photos of my Border front so I can sell it.

I thought the exact same thing...the way that my side skirts bulge out at the back is very similar to the way the Aeroware lip bulges out on the side. I think it is going to look truly perfect

Good work Julian, Ken told me that he will soon be emailing all the people from Sydney who have shown interest in the group shipment.

What parts were you and Julian looking at getting from Shine BTW? Do you know if they do any rear pods for MR2s?

hehe fair enough.
I was almost going to keep my Aeroware lip idea a secret, then surprise everyone after fitting it to my car instead of the Border front lol. But I'm too excited about making a decision after all this time!

I've emailed Shine Auto about the rear pods, so I'll probably get a reply tomorrow.
I want something like these rear pods:

Are those 'trust' pods?

Yeah they are similar to your pods but not identical.
I think there is an aftermarket 'diffuser' between the exhaust tips on the car in that pic too. It looks so good!
