Have you actually been able to drive this car since all the fancy work has been done to it?
I remember, a long looong time ago, that you brought it to a meet one time...

lol, I personally haven't driven the car more than about 2km on the street since this time last year! So yeah I haven't really got to drive it with all the mods yet.
I plan on keeping the car for a very long time, so there is plenty of time left for me to enjoy it!

Here is the new front brake setup, I love how it looks
I think the callipers still need to be painted properly.

What brand rotor are they?

Any idea on the price of those rotors? How do they feel compared to the Wilwoods?

I don't know how they feel yet, the car is still in and out of the workshop to get the engineering process sorted.

Did you feel much of a difference with changing to 18 inch wheels? Is the drive quality better or worse? Your car is beautiful.

Thanks mate!
The 18 inch wheels were on the car when I got it, so I don't know how it feels to have stock wheels lol.
The car has always felt great on normal roads and motorways/freeways, but it's very rough on bumpy roads. I think that's just my dodgy old stock suspension with lowered springs of some sort. I've neglected the suspension entirely, but I will be getting some decent coil overs very soon to wrap-up all the mods to the car. I've spent so much money on the engine and everything else, I'd be crazy not to put some time and money into the suspension to really complete the car.

I'm back from the snow now and have a better internet connection...I couldn't be bothered elaborating before.
Basically the car is getting a few simple things sorted, including a wheel alignment, and it needs a sticker to show the gear shifter positions, and a few other things that I can't remember, then Consulmotive may inspect the car late this week if I'm lucky Once it's been inspected, if Consulmotive are happy with it, I guess I'll be receiving an engineers certificate and be able to get the car registered again.
MRC said that they will then give the car back to me for a little while so I can put some more km's on it, then they will do the full power tune, finally!

Alternatively I could buy a different gear knob which has the gear numbers on it (I'd prefer that option over an ugly sticker, but it might slow things down too much if I need to wait for a gear knob to arrive).

If the knob doesn't show which way for the gears - esp reverse, then it's a defect and doesn't meet RWC/rego compliance. A sticker on the base plate is fine.
