Thanks Cal

Even after the crazy amount of money that I've spent on the engine, I'll never regret it, because I love my MR2 more than anything, and it will be worth it for the extra enjoyment whenever I drive it!

Here we go, more progress on the intake piping.
The air filter will be tucked down in the left air vent, and the piping for that isn't done yet.
The BOV will go somewhere on the left hand side of the long pipe that has now been added from the turbo to the boot.
The fuel pressure regulator has also been fitted to a custom bracket near where the X brace attaches to the left of the firewall (where the blue fitting is on the first pic).

im just going to come out and say it.. no body else here is concerned that those silicon joins without clamps on them will just blow off once the engine hits boost?

on the mx5 when i rev it, i can see the silicon coupler flexing with the boost.. i think it would be the same here.

If I get an LSD at all, it will be a Quaife.
I'm going to just see how the car feels without one, and if I want to have one fitted later my mech will just drop the gearbox.
There is a good chance I will want an LSD, but if nothing else it would be good to make the comparison before and after

Looking good. I like the black and silver/grey colour scheme.

Thanks mate, it's very intentional even on the interior for the most part!

Rob, mate that looks absolutely freaking fantastic! I'm especially impressed with the use of black paint and hoses etc instead of the usual blue / red / whatever that always looks so tacked on. Tho a guy with your level of attention to detail i should expect this sort of beautiful result. Reminds me of some of the photos of your model car engine bays you showed me :) Cant wait to see it!
