I have seen a TRD emblem on the plenum, was alloy/stainless plate with red TRD on it, looked nice. subtle and classy.

It will already look similar to that with the ceramic coating, like my turbo

That's the sort of thing I'm talking about yeah. I guess I'll see how it looks after the ceramic coating first.

I think after the ceramic coating it will look great, and you wont want to cover it up!!

Whats the colour/finish scheme you are planning for your engine bay?

Cheers

I've maintained a black and bare metal / silver theme throughout the entire car and engine bay. Later tonight I should have some photos of my completed cam cover.
EDIT: I finished painting the cam cover and removed the masking tape from the TOYOTA letters, which went really well, but I want to wait a few days before removing the residue left behind. I'll get photos after that, it turned out quite well so I'm really happy with it!

Another TB inlet option. This one is in Stainless.

Thanks Nick, that does look really nice, but I'm already getting an ATS one along with Bryce and Julian (I'm getting a polished one which will probably look very similar to the KO one).

Here is my finished cam cover:

I also cut out all the MDF for my sub enclosure, so I'll be assembling that ASAP.

looks neat, like the satin finish. think it will go well with the ceramic coating finish of intake manifold etc.

cheers

Cheers, I'm glad I chose satin rather than gloss or matt black.
Today the intake manifold is being sent to the ceramic coating place, along with the heat shields from the firewall.

Just wondering if a ATS TB inlet would make much of a difference??

On a moderately/highly modified engine like mine it will probably make a bit of a difference, but it's not overly expensive, and it looks alot better than the stock funnel shaped piece.

So hence, it probably would make bugger all difference on a standard engine running the standard intercooler and piping?
