I already have a 12 inch Pioneer sub (there's a photo on an earlier page in this thread). Today I got some mdf, black carpet, and the white fill stuff from Jaycar, so I can make an enclosure.

It won't be visible when the engine goes back in, but it's still worth it for all the photos I'm taking during the engine rebuild!

Rice would've been having annodized purple cam gears :)

You can still see a fair bit of the goodies once installed. Drool....

Wouldn't rice be having cam gears that look adjustable but actually aren't??

You've got a point there. When you put it like that, I guess a clear cam gear cover isn't any more ricey that a purely-aesthetic bodykit, because it isn't installed to improve performance, or even to give a false impression of improved performance.

May i just say that inking the cam tuning on the cam gears is such a great idea, oh and the clear cover means you can read it without having to remove (but alas you still can't adjust them without pulling it off).

And thats not so rice, try having ricey purple anodized cam gears and a purple belt, and no cover at all!!!! (it was like that when i bought mine)

Was that directed at me? My cams are certainly not stock anymore, they are now 265 and 271, and the brand is Cam Tech.
