All of the engine parts have been painted too, and the pistons are going in tomorrow, and the head may also go back on tomorrow.

Bare block before painting, new welch plugs etc:



After painting:









Another thing, instead of modifying the sump as is commonly done, two of the studs were shortened instead, which is expected to be a good solution and avoid potential leaking issues in that area.

headunit come up really well! is the surround modified or an aftermarket purchase??

i wanted a big ass deck like that but i love my cup holders lol

thats just the standard surround, it is a double din space.

Looks great robk! Where abouts did you install the amp? Hopefully by next week I will have bought some speakers and amp.

what version does your GPS DVD use?

If its a whereis map can you burn a DVD copy for me?

I haven't installed the amp yet, but I ran the cables through the door sill for it. I'll be putting it behind the driver's seat, with a sub behind the passenger seat.

what size sub are you gonna use? ive got a spare one to suit an 8" sub
