I did the same on my racer after Highlander complained that my tinted brake lights weren't bright enough. Fair call.
My car had the bulbs in place already so I just had to jump the wires across.
It's definitely better.
FYI I did exactly the same mod on my ADM S15 Silvia. Maybe all jap cars are like this?

He also complains that the text on road signs are too small to read.

Not true Dudeman. I just got sucked into a corner behind Admin thinking I was behind the last of the late brakers. Was mistakenly thinking "If he can brake this late so can I." Ran out of road and talent at the same time. Besides my SW20 never sees the road and if I start complaining about the "100" signs at Wakefield being too small, it might be time for a mobility scooter.

I'm sure he'll display self control but spend more time at the track.

Congratulations Rob !!  I can understand the feeling.
They are lovely little cars. Mine has no power but it is delightful to drive.

So glad you're back on the road! I was going to suggest a drive this weekend but DD's got me grounded :( Got a new tank of fuel in? chances are the old stuff might have lost a few octane levels just sitting in the tank for 6 months.

Rain and double demerits means no driving the MR2 this weekend.
There is almost a full tank of 5-month-old 98 RON fuel in the car, which was put in there when Shaz drove me back from Wakefield in January. The car seems to be driving just fine anyway. I look forward to putting some more E85 in there when I next fill up!
