sandog: Yeah that's your wheel! Have you got any updates on your car?
DOuFINKimSEXY: ha ha yeah it is a bit of a tease but purely unintentional.
stuka: Thanks Pat. I am very much looking forward to getting the engine in and driving it around. To be honest with you I don't really know what to expect as I've never driven a BEAMS powered car before.
purple5ive: Thanks Steve. Quad throttle bodies would be nice but I think I might have problems finding ones that will fit.

Looks great Darren, very excited to see the final product. Terrible picture of the exhaust! I'll have to give it a proper polish once its on your car :D

kameleon: I remember you saying something about hayabusa quad throttles a long time ago. Thanks for reminding me man! They seem to be pretty cheap on e-bay. purple5ive: I guess most things can be modified to fit . I think the quad throttle would be great but I do want to experience it in "mild tune" (initial setup) first. evl_132: Yes the picture of the exhaust is terrible. I was planning on polishing it once it is installed and the car on the hoist but since you offered I'll let you do it [88]. Thanks man!

sandog: Thanks Sandeep. Not much of an update: I received and fitted my brand new BEAMS engine loom a few weeks ago but only got around to taking pictures last Saturday. I'm now in the process of trying to find a body loom compatible with the BEAMS ECU. I personally don't like my chances so I might just have to buy a brand new one from Toyota. This BEAMS conversion is proving to be an expensive exercise but I'm sure it'll be worth it! Pictures below:

UPDATE:Not a great deal has happened with the G-Limited as I've just been buying a few white panels to replace the current ones (which are fine, just a different colour obviously). I have also purchased a front bar with a late model front lip, new BEAMS engine loom from TOYOTA ex. Japan and hopefully the final piece of the puzzle (conversion-wise) a BEAMS body loom (Thanks Mandalay). The car will be taken to IDB in the next couple of weeks (depending if Ian has the time/space) to remove the old 3S-GE then it'll be moved next door to ANSON auto for a engine bay and front compartment respreay to white then back to IDB for the conversion. I hope to have the car running in the next couple of months. Anyhow pictures below of a couple of purchases I've made: MR-S badge (blue) for when the car gets a full respray. The black one will go on the GT-S. Thanks goes to DB8 (Chris). DELTA V stainless steel sway bar reinforcement plates to prevent the standard mounts from being torn off the car. Thanks goes to DELTA V.

2hardtop: That would be ideal! However I've been told by a reputable source I can make do with my current dash loom. kameleon: Hahah if someone was selling a genuine factory fitted BEAMS SW20 hardtop I would have bought it instead of going this route.
