well much work was done today, here's a few pics,,,,    All went well, I expected it to be much worse than it was. I think I just had this impression it was going to be torcher. Can't cheer yet, I reckon getting the first two mounts in on the way back in will be horrible.

Did some more work today, installed a Wally pump  and got to cleaning the filth off my bay. I can't believe its actually red under all that grease,  Anybody got some Eng Bay detialing tips?

toothbrush with mild degreaser, then wash with warm soapy water, then polish and it will look fantastic.

Well due to my pup having a knee reconstruction I have to babysit her for two months!!! and my car is in the shed 100kms away!!!!!!!!!! Iam bored. I wunna cry LOL. So I have to do some lame poo poo like polishing and painting parts. OO and buying parts too. Poor Lola, don't mind my ugly foot  What I started with  My version

Well this is the progress so far with the celica manifold. Ive just gotta degrease the inside and try to get all my alli shavings out, tips anyone? without using my dishwasher. I was going to spray a heap of degreaser in there and soak it in dishwasher detergent. Paranoid about sucking shavings into a new motor. Then I'll give it a final coat of paint.

use a chemical bath to get it all out, then spend the time with the air blower.
its going to ruin that fresh paint though.
in a ideal world i would do this and then sandblast the outside then paint. comes up a treat.

Ah, finally finished this ba$1ard. For anyone that wants to polish the bottom half, DON'T or do it in a few goes it's got too many small nooks.

Some more detailing work   No I don't brush my teeth while working on the car. I did my wire tuck today, heaps cleaner now. I also did a Eng lid cable tuck which turned out great.
