Name: James (though everyone I know calls me morris)
Location: South
Age: 22
I drive: Red SW20 Hardtop GT-S 1994 model
My Plans: New steering wheel, replace current boost gauge with another, and add an a/f ratio gauge - and then I'll be happy for a while.
About me: I'm a 22 year old (just about to turn 23) software engineer who has been in love with MR2s since I was about 11 years old, I had photos of them on my school folders etc and dreamed about them for years. My first and second car were Daihatsu Charades before I bought a 1997 Bathurst MR2 about 4 years ago when I started earning a salary.

When I bought that MR2 I'd test driven a few, and the first one I test drove was a grey 1994 turbo GT-S which I absolutely fell in LOVE with on the spot. It was about $2000 out of my price range though, and I'm now kind of glad I didn't get that one as I think it would have been a little too much for an almost 19 year old going from a front wheel drive 1.3 litre car into a mid-engined rear-wheel drive 2.0 litre turbo.

Anyway, so for 3 years I dreamed of the day I'd be ready for a GT-S and made the decision to start looking for one in December of last year. I checked carsales/drive/tradingpost religiously (I'm talking every single day at work) for 9 months, but hadn't found any really clean unmolested examples (aside from BlakeGTS' one in Perth which I almost bought, but it wasn't worth the extra cost of getting it back here and re-registering in NSW - would've been $2500'ish on top of purchase price) until I found this 1994 GT-S which I am absolutely smitten with. Now I've got to quickly sell my Bathurst so I can pay back the money I borrowed to buy this one before anyone else could!

Seen this in person. The steering wheel sits in a very nice spot with this column (for race purposes lol)

Name: Steve
Location: North Shore

My Plans: Keep the car stock standard till the engine gives out... then... who knows? Planning to baby car till then.
About me: Bought the MR2, due to a recent bike accident, taking a break from riding and decided to go back to four wheels. Not exactly sure if MR2 was the smart choice there... :P Looking forward to getting guidance and wisdom from you all.
