The guys/gals at the MX5 club in NSW are a pretty good bunch. When I first went on a run with them I thought they would rubbish MR2's but most of them had a lot of respect for them, although they all seem to think that the MX5 is the better car, obviously. Comparing the two I have a slight leaning towards the MR2 as I think they are more of a 'drivers' car. The MX5 is a great little car and very easy to drive and is an ideal car for someone beginning their foray into sports cars. I am mainly talking about 1990 to 2000 models as the newer ones are too bl*%dy expensive and don't have the same character IMO.

I am quite disappointed about the whole situation actually as I have tried to get something going to no avail. It is now up to the current committee or what is left of them to get together to see if the club is going to continue in its present form.

Theres already a small group of us sussing this out.
Trying to work out whats required to restart it or take control of it.
