The little red rocket ๐
Hey all ive decided to make a build thread for my aus delivered aw11. I bought it many years ago after leaving or losing my job I forget, but i had 2 grand and i knew I would blow it and have nothing to show for it before i got a new job so i bought this. I never intended on keeping it. Ive just ive always been into ae86s and ke70s, but its grown on me. When i first got it i put a big port in as the small port had a spun a bearing or something idk it had a knock but after all that i found out the fuel pump died and couldnโt be bothered fixing it which is a good thing or I would of probably sold it years ago. I was about to drop 10k+ on it A couple months ago as ive been out of the car scene for a while to buy a house and save and got the itch to get one of my cars going, then i saw this vid and the guy does lke an 8:50 lap at the nordschleife with basically a stock car even stock brake lines so I talked to the guy a bit and he changed my mind why mess up the balance toyota spent so much time and money on Anyways it isnt looking the best atm ill take some pics when i get the wheels on hers a quick vid of where up upto

Fantastic,
Always fantastic to see more MR2 love :)
I do get a little lonely sometimes, a lot of the scene is gen2 centric, not that I don't also love a curvey 2

Not sure about the YouTube links, I'd say it must do because @admin posts all his times here and someone linked the MCMs gen2 build here also, it may be a supporter feature? Or just an embed option that's not working properly?
In regards to ownership, nah there's quite a few, but most are running just fine and people have already done the hard yards getting them back to sorts.
I love to see people reviving ones that could go either way so looking forward to this thread for sure :)

It doesn't accept this format - https://youtu.be/VFvPjNLCXD4You need to do it like this - Make sure that you remove the hyperlink (when it goes blue in colour) otherwise it won't work. Select the blue text then click on this button to remove the hyperlink. It's a bit fiddly, I know... I can do a video of the whole process if you still aren't sure.

Truenough86, Mine came with a small port as the previous owner did the bearings on the original big port. Fuel pump change was my 1st job on buying the car as a non-runner. It needs some patience as its lots of simple yet fiddly steps. Welcome and good luck.
