Bathurst boot lock barell

Hi everyone.

I need to order a bathurst lock barell for the boot. Can somebody give me a genuine toyota part number for this part or pm me their vin so I can order from toyota. Went to spare parts and they are not able to do anything for me without a bathurst vin number.

Alternately, does anyone have a spare lock barell?

I have an 1990 mr2 mk2

Thanks

    Whats a 'Bathurst lock barrell'?

If you have a 1990 mr2 mk2 you most definitely do not have a Bathurst. If you need a lock barrel for the boot you'll need to order a lock barrel for a rev1/2 car, which are the same size afaik.

You should be able to order that without having a VIN, but if they are still available is another question.

He has probably changed the taillights / center garnish to the later revision. Hence would need the different (Bathurst) lock barrel, from memory they are deeper in size.

The longer lock for late model tail lights online part number is useless as everywhere i have checked is discontinued, however there is one on ebay genuine for$500.
There were two part numbers for one with alarm and one without - will search a little more in my backup hard drive :) sadly with an image and part number for everything on a mr2 #mr2 life

Reconfirmed on many toyota parts world wide sites, 69055-17101 and 69055-17130 superseded are discontinued / no stock.  Seond hand guy on Facebook who parts out lots of mr2 (pram think his name) sells second hand for $90 USD plus shipping last I saw.  Group buy time from the usa to save on postage :)
So so so many mr2 parts are now discontinued in both OEM and aftermarket reproductions!!! owners be aware that the value of your mr2 just went up because if you part it then its worth a fortune!

There was an online solution of hammering out the boot, personally I dont think you could hammer it out enough...
