SW20 heater core
Hi guys,
SW20 heater core leaking and currently bypassed. Anyone have one in Sydney? Had a quick look for a new/aftermarket one but no luck so a good condition OEM looks to be the go.
Cheers,
Adrian

Hi Adrian, I have a few, got a complete unit I pulled from my 1999 Bathurst. Let me know if you struggle to find one locally.

Have you pulled the existing one out yet? I’ve had a couple fail around the solder joint where the inlet and outlet pipes meet the due to flex on the rubber heater lines. I just hit it with a small propane torch until the pipe comes out then cleanup the joints and resolder. It only take a few minutes to fix.

I agree, mine was leaking and when I rebuilt my dash I pulled it and found cracks around the solder, cleaned it up and reflowed with propane and fresh solder
