Thanks guys. Currently there are no clusters available on the Facebook page, but led's....Hmmmmm! My dimmer won't work anymore but it will certainly look good (and bright).
TonyMR2, the temp gauge was working intermittently and has since stopped completely. I have checked the signal feed to the cluster and it is good so I'm looking for bad or cracked solders at the moment, I don't think this one is a diode issue but I will swap it just to be on the safe side (35c from Jaycar). The tacho is working but severely out of sync, I have an apexi AFC Neo which gives me an accurate tacho signal directly from the ECU and the tacho in the dash is definitely out of sync. I have the F20C engine but have a circuit converting the 5v square wave to a high voltage signal output, I thought this may be the culprit but after building another circuit and testing it (tested perfect) I'm still getting the out of sync reading. I have never encountered a diode that had a built up resistance (thought I'm hardly the expert), I will try swapping that and see if it makes a difference. Failing all of this I will contact you about your bits and pieces.
Next thing I need to build a can bus decoder for the oil level sensor and the oil pressure light, everything else is analogue. Oh I almost forgot, the fuel gauge is all over the shop and I just assumed it was the sender unit (very common) could this also be a cluster issue? Is there anything in particular I should check to confirm before I go pulling everything apart?
Thanks again.
