Got engine out, ready for install now.
Just prepping the wiring harness, and a few things in the engine bay & remove / upgrade the fuel pump.

That looks awesome man, well done. Are you putting mesh or anything over the holes in the frunk?

Rob & I started a little work on the 2gr track car after coming home early from WFP track day challenge.
Switched out to LED tail lights, boot lid will be carbon wrapped and spoiler fitted (thanks b24 (Steve),

Removed fuel tank, switched out old fuel pump with a new E85 compatible kemso high flow pump.

Then started ripping out the evaporator unit and any associated air con bits.

Source a nice cobra fixed back racing seat for it also.

There is a hell of a lot of wiring in there. Should change to mechanical window winders to remove a lot of that wiring harness. You can save 20kg with the wiring.

Not gonna do to much in regards to wire removal, but yes am removing the electric windows / regulator and going polycarb and slide / pin system.

Been slow progress, not the build but everything else life throws at you.
Anyway, fitted up hooser slicks purchased from Glenn.
Rolled the guards, think I'll still have to flare the rears as there is too little much tire poke.
Set of BC (C-12) Coil overs to go in, hopefully get them in over the next week.

Finally got around to installing 'black race series' front and rear engine mounts for the 2GR.

you may not need a tacho with those mounts, your tailbone may be able to tell you the exact rpm!

Little update:

New radiator installed

Aftermarket front bar installed

Bonnet marked out ready for some weight reduction

Bonnet locking mechanism removed & bonnet pins locks installed

Top view of bonnet

Installed some aftermarket side vents

Just ordered some border side skirts for it also, should look the same as my other black sw20 track car :-)
