Unfortunately a limited choice for road tyres, but here are a few combinations that you could look at. Yokahama Advan Neova AD08R. 205/45R16 and 225/45R16 (F/R) that will give you stock rolling diameter High performance, and expensive but with treadwear rating of 180 they should last longer than a semi slick. Kumho KU31 205/16R45 and 225/45R16 but these would be more of a general road tyre. Fairly cheap and would give you stock rolling diameter. Bridgestone RE002 or RE003. A good performance tyre but only available in a 205/50R16 and 225/50R16, meaning a larger rolling diameter so your speedo will read about 3 kph low . I have run Bridgestone RE002's and found them a great tyre.

I run 16" rims and get my Toyo T1-R tires from Demon Tweeks in the UK (205/45R16 front and 225/45R16 rear). They take about 4-5 days to arrive to arrive by courier from the time you order and pay – and still cost a whole lot less than what you'd pay here. http://www.demon-tweeks.c...e/tyres/toyo-t1-r-tyre

Thanks guys! I'm using ku31 at the moment, they are alright - good bang for buck. Redtarga - I'm interested in the adrenalins, what would you guys think of 50 profile front and rear? and just so i'm not confused regarding the speedo difference - so if my speedo reads 60kmph, I'm actually going at roughly 63kmph? mister2, will check out the cost of the toyos including delivery too :) ! thanks!

Sorry, I forgot to add the speed. Yes I meant speedo 3 kph low at 60 kph, although I believe it may be slightly less than that. There are several online calculators you can check. I know people that run the Bridgestone RE002's in the sizes I mentioned F/R on SW20 NA's and they don't seem to have problems. However I have only used these in a 205/50R16 on the front of my car on a 16 X 6.5, 40 offset (Nissan GTST wheel). I can only tell you that they have excellent grip, and unlike several other brands I have used, these do not cause tramlining with stock front end alignment settings. Also, RE002's are now replaced by RE003's so I don't know for how long RE002's will be available

Yep just rang and they got no RE002's but have the RE003's. Can get them in 50 and 45's I'll give em a try. Will go the 205/45/16 & 225/45/16. Good topic cheers.

Hey guys! So finally in the process of getting my wheels sorted, Unfortunately can't seem to find anywhere that have stock of KU31 in 205/45/16 and 225/45/16 at the moment :( - was planning to keep to budget tyres. So my options would be: Order those sizes for Toyo T1R (from demon-tweeks as mister 2 suggested) - in which case that would be about 660 shipped for all 4, but i guess i would need to factor in fitting and balancing - approx another $50-$60 roughly on top. - total $720 say. Or go with Bridgestone RE003 for a total of $775 or so fitted and balanced. (Performance benefit as well i suppose?) Only issue is that for RE003, (as you mentioned previously redtarga) - front i can get 205/45/16, but rears would have to be 225/50/16. Would it be of any detriment to run these differing profiles front to rear? (aside from the speedo being slightly off) General thoughts? Thanks guys!

Scratch previous post, bridgestone have buy 3 get 4th free, 205 45 16 @ 150 per corner 225 50 16 @ 195 per corner inc. balance and fitting, so total cost would be $540 full set ! woohoo!

IMO a 50 profile on the front rather than a 45 would ride and look better to match the 50 rear They should also be available

Thanks!
Only question I'd ask is whether or not the additional profile would impact coilover clearance on the fronts and also scrubbing on plastic lining. I don't mind the slightly meatier looking rear. Ride quality doesn't bother me - will be better than my 215/40 and 235/40 at the moment regardless :)
