It's not a tool but maybe some spare headlight bulbs. If ya do hit a skippy, the bulbs will be buggered so just a thought.

okay!!.

Toolkit!... waste of time, totally didn't need it!.

I completed the full trip which was EPIC to say the least. I'll do a small write up in my showroom thread. but all in all, an experience that I not only want to repeat but expand upon!!. these cars are built for driving and having fun and I drove the crap out of that thing.

on the way home I hit 2 roos and 2 rabbits... so some repairs needed. but on the bright side, at least it didn't happen til the way home!! haha.

Next trip is likely going to be Sydney to Perth via coast road all the way then return by most direct route. or Dublin to Nurburg depending on total cost to my bank balance.

Best tool I took was one of those mini jump starter packs. it saved my butt!!. middle of nowhere pulled up for a sleep something like 110kms north of Cunnamulla car would not start. must have a drain or something. so relieved to have the starter kit!.

Cheers.

oh and by the way, thanks to detours and bright ideas of mates, trip wound up being more on the 8,000km side of things than the 7,000kms. But worth every kilometre of it!. (except maybe the boring parts at the very start and the very end!)
