Radiator hose question

Hi guys,

Can anyone shed some light on wether or not the radiator hoses are the same shape and size throughout the whole SW20 series? I'm looking at buying one of the radiator hose kits on eBay, but they are all listed as 93 onwards compatible & I have a 91 model.

Why don't you check part numbers for the different year models on Toyodiy to see if they are the same?

Like above, check part numbers villagetoyotaparts

They all look the same, however might be 10mm or so of difference in the hoses, as there is a difference in some of the sw20 radiator sizes depending on year/engine. Any aftermarket hoses; its best to get there measurements as some are made that correspond in shape however are not specifically made for the mr2 and therefore again 10+mm shorter reducing the hose length coupled on hardline/radiator.

I bought a hose kit from eBay a while ago and most of the hoses didn't fit.
It is best to buy genuine parts.
Get your part numbers here - http://toyotamarket.ru/jp/211120/ (this site is better than Toyodiy because it has clickable parts diagrams)
Then buy your parts here - https://www.amayama.com/en/

Must be hit and miss. I've used 93> ones on my 91 without fitment issues. That said I'm sure there's more than one joint making them.

Thanks for everyones input. I guess I was just trying to take an easy route & buy the ready to go kit from ebay.
I will go genuine just in case now though.
