Parting out AW11, Adelaide S.A. (UPDATED 8.4.16)

Picked up this Aw11 with intentions of either tidying it up & giving it a new life on the road OR depending on overall condition... track prepping it.

Unfortunately, (in my opinion) its too far gone & would need tooo much time / $$ thrown at it in order to restore & have it back on the road in good shape.

Which leaves me with only one option.... TRACK CAR.

I will be parting it out, so if anyone needs any parts, let me know.

PARTS AVAILABLE:
  1. It currently has a good running BIGPORT 4age engine & C52 gearbox SOLD
  2. All interior parts (what ever is left from purchasing it)... I will add more pics shortlySOLD
  3. wheels & tires  SOLD
  4. Towbar (what the)?? SOLD

If you are chasing something in particular I havent mentioned, let me know.  (happy to post interstate @ buyer expense).

Assorted interior parts. All in excellent condition. SOLD

Intrument facia surround - no cracks at all (exc cond) SOLD

Center vent (exc cond) SOLD

RHS & LHS door handle surrounds, no cracks at all (exc cond) SOLD

Fire wall carpet & 4 x plastic scrivets (exc cond) SOLD

Interior roof light fixture, lens missing (exc cond) $10

JDM spare wheel (exc cond) $25

Front bonnet emblem - $40 SOLD

Feel free to ask for any parts I havent mentioned.

Does the twobar attach to the metal bumper support or the actual chassis/body?

Hey mate, what was the dealbreaker(s) that made you deem it beyond repair?

Its not beyond repair, just more than I'm willing to spend on it. I'm pretty fussy so it would need too much.

why not sell it and buy a ****tier car to track? if its not that bad (ie, due to you being super picky about resto), sell it to someone else who does have the coin to restore it and buy yourself a proper track one, rather than dooming a car because of your picky taste?

It looks like a great base for a less than fussy person. I could do with a reshell; shame I'm not closer.

Would sell & buy a ****tier car to track, but I havent come across another as recent.
If someone is interested, by all means, I would sell complete (as is).  Unfortunately what you cant see as yet, the passenger side front guard has a little damage, front end has had a little hit as some point & would need a full respray.  But as stated, would be a beautiful base for someone to restore, I agree totally.
I picked it up as it was just sitting in the front yard, further deteriorating & would have continued for who know how long.

What year is it and how much would you want to sell it for as is (not that I have money or room for it)?  I have a ****tier condition '85 mk1a, we may be able to come to an arrangement if you can wait until after Jan (MTC).

It's the same colour mk1a as my car so I would be keen on a lot of parts but its a long way away and probably not worth it unless I get the whole thing.  It would be a shame to part out and looks overall in better condition than my '85.

Very cool, are the tow pickup points usually on the reo bar? If so this might be a decent way of adding a towbar to our cars.

Ok, the towbar has been welded (very well mind you) directly to the metal reo support bar. Overall it looks a very neatly done job, rio is in very good condition too.

    Thanks for the pics!
I wonder if the reo bar is the same as mine on my 1989? Will it replace what i have now I wonder.
Has the bumper plastic cover been cut or modified in some way?
How much do you want for it?
