Queensland Club AGM Report

 
Thank you to all that attended the recent AGM. We had a good roll up of members who actively participated in the decision making.
 
We have a few changes in the committee with myself (Craig Smith) as President, Steve Baxter continuing as Secretary, Eric Manderson as Treasurer and Danny Rajamae taking on the role of Run Manager. I would like to thank Walter and Kathy for all their hard and relentless work over the past years – they have set a high standard for those that follow. “Walter, don’t think you will be getting out completely as there will be many questions coming your way.”  Walter has also offered to start the official club historical register.
 
I have been part of the MR2 community for over eight years and have seen many changes in that time. To take on president at this time is exciting as there are a lot of opportunities ahead and many ways to enjoy our cars. Through the years there has been a basic format; an avenue for MR2 owners to come together and enjoy the pleasure of driving their unique cars, this will continue as the committee give their time so all members can join the runs, other events and have fun.
Any and all suggestions for runs or events are welcome, please pass them on. I look forward to seeing everyone over the coming months.
