I had a small crash today car simply did numerous 360 spins after I stepped on the accelerator  spun across 3 lanes of tarffic on a highway went in between signs and armco

all in all pretty lucky or there would be another mr2 be parted out

I am lucky that no one is hurt and the trees I hit are soft thingies that are shallow roots

So I will need some parts

Ah man that sucks, but at least it wasn't worse! Were you going highway speeds? That would've scared the crap out of me.

I have taillights but no centre panel to suit.

Glad to hear you're alright. How did the car manage to lose grip? Were you turning a little too hard or something?

It sounds like you need stickier tyres, bro. What's the tread wear number on the rear tyres that are on the car now?

It was dryish - there had been a light drizzle that was not even enough wet the windscreen as it dried up before hitting the ground

    I have 2000km old   2015 manufactured Falken 452   245/40/17

I had traveled 5km already at 60 kph enough time to warm the tyres

    Tread wear rating 300
    Traction rating AA
    Temperature A

So they are supposed to be grippy tyres

My continentals that were down to 2mm tread depth had better grip than these things

I have Falken 595 (not RSR) on the back on my Commodore and they are one of the worst tyres I have ever bought. They are diabolical in the wet and I have trouble taking off from lights with the car trailer hitched up to the Commodore - even with no race car on it!
A mate of mine also has the same tyres and has the same opinion.
It's possible that they are fake Falkens from China. They seem to be making and selling other fake car parts so why not tyres?
