Greetings; New member wanting to trade MKIV Supra RZ Hardtop AUTOMATIC for '89 or '90 SW20

Greetings,

I am no sure where to post tis so here we are; I suppose. I am wanting to gauge interest or possibility there-in of trading a MKIV tSupra RZ hardtop AUTOMATIC with 92,000 original kms on the odometer and a full timing belt service performed among other routine maintenance (new  factory Toyota re-manufactured Denso alternator, Optima Red Top batery, 4 new tires, an alignment, a brand new Road Worthy certificate, new rego god for one year from June 10th and a $2,000.00 sound system recently installed using quality components (JL Audio, JVC, Polk, Kicker).

I am an American living in Australia returning to the United States and want a vehicle I can (legally) import i to the United States. My Supra would  will not be legal until 2019 at midnight of New Years Eve (so technically January 1st of 2020) and I just do not want to wait that long for a car.  The only vehicles allowed to be LEGALLY imported in to the United States must be 25 years old or older. What happens if you were to just import your Supra and sneak iit in to the United States and register it? hand cuffs, court date(s), scissors taken to my driver's license etc....

I am not wanting to turn this in to a For Sale ad so I will not speak too long winded about the car but will say: The clear coat is pealed on the driver's side rear fender and on some of the driver's side door. It really is not noticable from 20 feet away but an automotive enthusiast would not notice it and it makes waxing and / or detailing the vehicle almost an impossibility. I know that really affects the price but as said; It really is not terrible and the car is so "tight" otherwise and drives so confidently; I do not even think it when driving the car. There is an indentation in the front bumper cover where I very slowly bumped in to the ball of a hitch on an SUV and returned to the United States for a short stint after that happened thus leaving the car in storage until my return to Australia this past Jun. A competent body shop technician would be able to push the dent out, blend and repaint the area with no problem.

I have owned an Mr2 non turbo before and loved the way it handled and rode. I would say the MKIV Supra and the SW20 chassis MR2 Turbo are the two best cars Toyota ever made (That' s just my opinion.) so it makes sense trading one for another.

I want an MR2 Turbo and believe even with what cosmetic work needs done to my Supra Turbo that it is more than fair trade. I am complimented on the Supra anytime I drive it. I would like ti to go to an enthusiast of cars like these and would expect the same for any one trading their MR2 to me.

I purchased it from a dealer years ago who imported it so Ido not have the importation paperwork but can call around and see about acquiring it.

I will post pictures at a more reasonable hour of the day and am happy to answer any question(s) any one might have about the car. I would REALLY like a trade as I have barely driven the car after purchasing it as i has needed some maintenance done and I have been in the United States dealing with personal family and business related affairs which garnished my attention more so than a car at he time.

Email address as I negligently did not ad it in my first post:  or

I attempted to host an image on freespace.com.au but the file size is too large. I WILL host and hyperlink an image later in the day so please; Be patient.

I am at a point of NEEDING rid of my car at this point as I am an American returning to the United States to complete my education and will not be able to take my car with me, unfortunately. If you want to trade for my car still; That is fine and I will do that and will make a SEPARATE For Sale ad for my car on here as I do not want to go against any forum guidelines for a point of sale ad.

    Thanks,
