Curious to see if this got off the ground as I'm throwing ideas up on what to replace my stock suspension.

The other place that you may want to try would be DMS. Again an Australian based company who can make to order, quality is better than bc coilovers and koni, but not as good as MCA.

Yea that's quite disappointing, I did hear a horror story about their service from a mate who owns an MX5. Safe to say I think we can rule them out till they advertise some propper developed SW20 suspension. Interesting you mention DMS I'll have to do more research I'm going to try and get a ride in an Sdub with BC's to get a point of comparison

Yes and No, whilst most of us here would buy a set at some stage, its not as large a market at mx5's and silvias. From memory, there are 250 registered SW20's in Queensland, and they have to consider how much market they will get from that number... Plus when you can get BC and HSD coilovers so cheap, its hard to compete

BC BR for example (can get these for arround 1k)
I have HSD Monopros. they are ok, bit stiff for the street though (Paid 1100 new)
From memory, the basic MCA suspension was going to be 1400ish.

The MCA suspension you are talking about are Josh's, Murray's son. I am sure if anyone who wanted to buy some of Murray's shocks (expect around $10,000 I would guess) I am sure he would build them. Josh has shown some interest in the past in sw20 shocks however as others have suggested the skyline, silvia, evo, 86 etc markets are far more profitable.

I seriously reckon the market for good mr2 suspension is not limited to Australia. If it's a good product, which I have faith it would be, it would sell globally.
I personally would happily spend the extra 300.

I think $10000 is a bit of an over statement. If you want some MCA suspension for your car and to know an accurate price, i suggest you contact MCA directly. As i said in a previous post. It is great suspension. If you wanted another option try DMS.

I'll speak to MCA again if we can get someone willing to lend them a car. Last time we spoke they had components to put together a set of coilovers for an SW20. Just needed a car there for a week or so to measure up and dummy fit to produce the first set. We didn't end up getting a car to them so we're still sitting at square 1.
Retail price is around 1500 for entry level blues, 2000 for mid range and 2600 for reds. If we can get this off the ground and there's enough interest we may be able to get a group deal for the first run. Main thing is we need to get a car to them first. Can't do anything without that.

Scott isnt far off the mark. I got quoted up 2 years ago by murray on a set of silvers, and it came up to $6600. That was with springs, non camber adjustable top hats, and no resivours. 10k is what you pay for mca golds in 3 or 4 way adjustable with resivours etc.
