Spare Wheel/Tyre advice and assistance

Okay I am looking for a 17 inch wheel  thats a space saver type to fit my car  as I have aftermarket large brakes and as such  a 15 inch wont fit .  Now I have no idea if i can fit a 17 inch space saver in the front of the car for that matter.  My current wheels are as follows  on the front  which clear the large ksport caliper  Racing Hart  F: 7.5" x 17" +27 – 215/40/17, R: 8.5" x 17" +30 – 245/40/17 - the front uses a 5mm spacer to assist clearing the caliper  here is a picture attached - ANY SUGGESTIONS ON A SPARE WHEEL TYRE ?

With larger aftermarket wheels I suppose many people just give up on this, and carry a can of Slime

Even if you find a spare that fits in OK, another problem may be where do you put your punctured tire if you've got a passenger in the car, the boot full of luggage, and you're a long way from home?
Will your 245/40/17 fit in the front trunk???
I have found that while some wheels may not appear to fit in the front trunk, if you remove the valve to let all the air out they may just squeeze in with a hard push.
    Anyway good luck.

All valid Points I had not considered Redtarga

I was thinking of having a plug kit and 12volt compressor on board the car for these types of situations

Another option is to go with a space saver from a falcon or something, which is a larger 5x114.3 than our own standard ones, and may clear your larger calipers.
