I'm not in Melbourne but I just called nova windscreens and they got one within a week fitted for around $300 with a new mould.

Thanks for that mate I went for superior windscreens and got one for $220 with mould;) and the fitter said mine still had the original screen not bad for a 1990. And not a spec of rust under the screen.

    Great price David.
I was just happy to get one, never thought of shopping around.
Hopefully this info helps others get a screen at a good price.

If you're fussy, it's worth getting an original Toyota OEM windscreen moulding too and supplying that to the windscreen guys for fitment.
Sometimes the generic ones that get used aren't as good for flushness or sealing.  My experience...

Has anyone been able to get replacement windscreens with the radio areal wire inbuilt into the screen like what came in some of the JDM cars?

When I rang around they were asking about the areal try RACV, you can always get a stick on Ariel they have a cable and they stick to your glass I have have one on the rear of my other car they work ok.njust an EBay fix.

My Mr2 has a motorized one that comes throught the spoiler as it is AUS delivered.

The screen I got also cam with lifetime wty on glass for any failure that is not caused by physical damage and 1 year on workmanship. The seal they used was very close to factory looking:) my old one was sun damaged for 25 years exposure so I was stocked when he said he would replace it, I had tried to cut, Polish, amour all and black jack it but it still looked old not it looks stock and brand new. I have not had a chance to check for leaks but I will:)

Yeah mine has the electronic telescopic aerial at the rear as well but I was hoping to find a windscreen with the inbuilt aerial so that I could delete the rear aerial and have the hole welded up. I will probably have it welded up even if I can't get the inbuilt one, I am not really that concerned if I have an am/fm aerial seeing as I can't even remember when I last listened to radio anyway.
