Willowbank Sprints - 26/9/2015 - UPDATE

6/07/2015 - IMPORTANT UPDATE

Booking has been confirmed with Queensland Raceway, and after discussions with Walter this will now be an official club activity. What this means is that the payments for the event will go through the club account. I will PM you all over the next few days with these details.

After some discussion with Walter, I am also asking that if each entrant could make a $40 deposit by the 22/07/2015 to secure their spot. This was a last minute decision, and the reason behind it is so that I have a financial guarentee from all entrants that they intend on coming. I dont want to lose all the entrants a month from the payment date and myself be stuck with the bill.

We also ask if you have invited an entrant along, to remind them that we condone safe driving and a responsible attitude. More on this later.

If you have any problems with this please do not hesitate to ask. Once again I am sorry to have to ask for the deposit after you have all registered interest. This is my first time organising this so I will do my best :)

You will also have to be registered on the QR website under their "Licence Registration System"  - This is where you will pay your QR licence fee - either $20 for the day or $55 for a year licence



Hi All

As per my EOI post before, i have confirmed the next available date for Willowbank Sprints. Saturday the 26th of September

Unfortunately it is not a street sprint, but an open sprint. This means the group booking price is more expensive at $1750 for 20 cars.

To make this economical, we need 12 cars. Pricing at that level would be $145.83ea
At 20 Cars, it would be $87.50ea plus licence fee and timer fees(if you don't have one)

If we can get 20 cars, it would make for a very cheap and fun day :)

As the group sprints sessions are filling up very quickly, we need to book ASAP. I would like to have 12 people confirming that they will be coming to the event by no later than 3/07/2015. If we don't get the 12 by this date, there is no guarantee that there will be the sprints session available. so the sooner the better!

Payment is due a month from the event in its total form. This will be going through the MR2 Owners Club of Australia account.

Final per person pricing will be calculated on the 1/08/2015. It will be between $145.83ea and $87.50ea pending cars
