Quaife LSD required parts

G'day,

I'm planning on buying a Quaife unit in the next few weeks.
I've tried doing extensive research in regards to what needs swapping over while I'm there but haven't found anything solid.

Has anyone done this conversion and have a comprehensive parts list?
I've heard some speedo gear needs to be swapped over and also stub axles.

Thanks.

If you have a non lsd e153 you don't need anything
If you have a factory lsd e153 you need the non lsd Speedo ring gear (can't buy a brand new one) also need the 16 non lsd bolts that hold the final drive on. Don't need the stub axles

Okay, my gearbox has the factory LSD.

I'd imagine that finding someone to split a gearbox open for the speedo gear would be hard.
Do you know whether the Camry E153 gear will work? Even any other Toyota?

    Awesome work!

Is there any mounting hardware that I should be grabbing too?

So the standard MR2 mechanical speedo drive works with this?

The speedometer gear just slides onto the diff casing and aligns with two notches.

This is a factory non LSD diff. Speedo drive is the blue bit

This is a factory LSD diff on the left (Yellow speedo drive) and the Quaife on the right. The way the speedo drive clips on and the slightly different diameter means the yellow one cant be used

    Factory LSD left Quaife right

The LSD bolts. The non threaded part is longer than the non LSD bolts so they cant be interchanged

Do you happen to know the part number for the non-LSD bolts?

I obtained both speedo rings. The only difference is the thickness of the inner ring component. I think by removing 0.1mm of material from the face of the inner ring it will fit perfectly. I'll post proof of concept when the car is on the road. I prefer the camry speedo ring because it will be perfectly zeroed for 245/45 R 17 rear tyres.
