The aquamist and tte gearbox set up was all built by Neil bates (on the small set up) , for a extremely short ratio track car.

The BYP boys have been hounding me at every track day to k-swap my sw20! I was set on doing a 2gr but I'm almost convinced to do a k24 now.

A screaming natro K24 I hope :)

That's the plan. 150kw at the wheels punching 1'06s all day. Then supercharge if I get bored and do 1'03 with 300kw lol.

trdk20 what box are you planning on running with the K20?
Are you planning to use the E153 or go with a PPG built honda box? Just curious as I was thinking if I end up doing a K20 swap I was thinking of using the hux racing kit and keeping my E153 so I will be interested to see what you end up using and how it goes.

Hey nik , same question iv been asking everyone, it appears that the guys in the states prefer the honda ratios , but the mr2 box is stronger allegedly. I'm leaning towards a honda box with albins gearset and possibly a strengthend bellhousing. I also wouldn't mind looking into some of the paddleshifts kits for the other mr2 if someone creates something decent lol.

I guess it also depends on your intended use for the car as well, if it will be largely street driven the issue of hard shifting at high revs that some people say is a fault of the E153 may not be as big of a problem especially in a turbo K20/24 application where more torque would be available and you might not need to rev it as high.
