    Toyota dealers can be a pain. If you supply them with the part number you should have no problems.

    Or contact road and track.

    thanks for your quick reply
    i tried road and track earlier this morning the guy there was having a look in his junk pile and told me to ring later today but said he doubted that he had what i was after and they were getting out of stocking the old mr2 stuff as they weren't getting supported :} whatever that means
    and the lads from toyota cant help as i dont appear to have the right original compliance plate that is needed to get the right numbers for the model i have :{ and it was going to take 21 days to come from japan even if i had the right numbers :{{
    Thanks
    John

    Head to your local wreckers and check some other Toyota's for the same or a similar part.

    Try contacting http://www.mr2australia.com/mr2play/Profile/4655/ (Gatesys SW20) he is usually really good at tracking down hard to find parts through Toyota. I'm not sure if he jumps on the forum often since he sold out on us and bought an 86 but if you cant contact him let me know and I will chase him up for you.

    I know it's late but just found the very same item.  Took it off my 3SGTE engine a while back when I changed to a Subaru blow off valve.
