I like them both

The chromies always suited your car despite being chromies.

Needs some centre caps and black nuts.

P.S.
WORK didn't do black nuts for toyotas thread pitch(1.5mm) when I got my wheels.
I don't know if this has changed, but RAYS does them.

Thanks for the positive comments everyone.

Bionikal - don't worry, I post new pics so rarely this prolly made up my tally for the year.

fredhoon - Tott has 275 tyres on his 9.5 wide rims, but because I'm running less offset, I'd have to stick with some stretch to avoid any serious rubbing issues.

angelmon - yeah I agree, would've been nice, but I wasn't willing to spend any money on car(s) then till my wedding adventure passed. Who knows......Might be rectified if it ever graces the pages of another magazine.

its me - yeh, I never really intended to go JDM, but I wanted good quality wheels (which are easiest to get from Japan). I didn't want any RE30's, CE28N etc though (too JDM boyracer for me). I chose Meisters cos they also reminded me of some old skool Supercar wheels like the F40's below.

madmr2 - Salamat pare! I'll upload the wedding pics oneday too, that is when I get time to pick through 1000+ pics the photographer took.....lol Sucks to come back after a 6week holiday, although I think I'll spend Xmas in the Phils this year & maybe swing by Europe next year if the economic situation & currency gets noticeably better by then (solid high 70's ex rate at the least).

Surok - Thanks for the compliment. No, these aren't Chesters old rims, he has SSR's. Those didn't even fit Shane's Supra, so there wouldn't be a chance in hell of fitting them to a stock bodied MR2.

w0n - Sorry to disappoint you BJ [88] Was just pulling your leg.

jdmr288 - I paid $2500 for them (local importer) without tyres. Not a real bargain price (reasonable though) but still cheaper than new & they were in flawless condition.

jupiter - Yeh, I always needed dish, the rears on the chromies were the only thing that I didn't like about em (weak dish).

KoffeeIndian - sorry TAE pare, I went actual bronze rather than "Shane's centre special"

2hardtop - I wouldn't mind getting better wheel nuts oneday, not just yet though (would get either Work or Rays). Thanks for your advice too. I still have the chromies, so swapping over is always a tyreshop away [(#)] Apparently I can't get centre caps for these Meisters (none were made), I kinda like how they look without them though.

Senor2 - Good suggestion with the bronze, I'm happy I didn't go with the polished centres now

Coilovers actually give you less width to play with. They give you more height though.

Shane's right, I'm running stock Bilsteins with King Springs. Sydney roads aren't good enough for nice stiff coilovers. Tott is right too, coilovers do change the game slightly. Sorry, will have to pass on the lug nuts, but feel free to hit me up if you need a bit of advice on wheel sizes, the local & US guys gave me some real good info.

Retard....? I love the colourful language [88] I won't be joining the Special Olympics just yet buddy.

I honestly still like the Sard front, won't be changing that for sure. But to each their own.

With jays sort of offset you could probably fit 18x10.5 rims on the back of the mr2. With a more conservative offset you can fit 18x10. I was going to run 18x10, but RE30's didn't come in such a size.

Is that a typo? Seems backwards, cos I don't think a 18x10.5 +29 has a hope of fitting the rear (will poke out half an inch more than mine).
