Fabricator Recommendations Brisbane

So I'm looking to put together a turbo upgrade and I'm hoping to save a bit of money by getting some parts fabricated here instead of buying a full turbo kit from overseas (especially with the weak dollar). Any suggestions/experiences you have to share are appreciated.

Doesn't have to be in the city, I'd be happy to travel up/down the coast etc for quality work.

    Hi Steve.
I don't know just which parts you are trying to have fabricated but if its either alloy or steel inlet or exhaust stuff then speak to Bryan at Exhaust Innovations at Capalaba.   Excellent work. 33903200.

Craig at Extreme custom engineering at acacia Ridge. This dude is one of those freaks that is born to fabricate. He's not cheap but comes up with some nice solutions and is the best welder I've ever seen.

Thanks guys, heaps of options to get me started! Looking to get exhaust manifold or adapter done if I keep the stocky to suit an external wastegate setup rerouted to dump pipe. Playing around with retaining twinscroll but I want to run a single wastegate, so it depends if a good solution to keeping the pulses separated can be found. I'm thinking something like this:

combined with an adapter like this if I don't get the manifold:

I'm also considering wastegating the turbine housing too. Has anyone here had experience with this method?

Of course all this depends on whether I decide TS is worth the extra hassle!

Which turbo are you going to run? Some of the EFR series have an IWG and TS which retains the separate exhaust pulses. If you're going TS and only 1 EWG, it won't be a true TS setup

Tossing up between the EFR 7163 or GTX3067. According to full race internal gate 7163 wont fit so i'd be going external wastegate with either option :(

Exactly the same turbos I've narrowed down my options to!
Full race might have meant that it won't fit as in they don't offer an IWG manifold for the EFR series. If you're going custom, it could be high mounted if there physically isn't any space. I got a quote from RacerX for a 321 stainless, IWG TS T4 manifold for $1900 USD to fit the 7163.

RacerX is awesome, but I think funds will ultimately decide for me :( a proper EFR 7163 setup will probably be a bit out of my price range I'm thinking so I'll probably do a more "budget" oriented GTX3067 build haha!
