Looks like fun. I've had three Corolla 4AGE TwinCams - two AE-82 and then an AE-92. Great motor.

Small update:

Bit hard to see, but fitted a 8' push fan on the under neath of the oil cooler, will see how this improves / reduces the engine oil temp.

Finally ripped out the flooring carpet, centre radio support bracket & lowered the drivers seat by 20mm... really starting to feel bare now.

As nice as this little Adub is around the track, I cant help fight the lack of a turbo feel.... I think next plan is to throw on a small turbo (GT25 or 28).
Does anyone have a 4agze ecu for sale??

If you have time to think about lacking a turbo, your not driving it hard enough then ;)

Aaron.... theres a lot of thinking time available down straights & coming out of corners!  I'd love to be occupied with other things... like catching that car just up ahead :-)

Haha, maybe we should have a AW 1.6 class if we get enough AW in 2016. At least you could all be battling it out together and not need to modify into madness.

MTC will turn into a week long festival with the increase in entries each year! Bring on 2016....

I wish the MTC and nationals were combined into a longer single event. I'd love to be a part of both every time, but to take my MR2 to an event in the Eastern States ends up costing me nearly $2000 in fuel, accommodation, food, fees etc. I could buy another MR2 for what i spend travelling to events lol. It sucks to live so far from everything.... This forum is my MR2 lifeline....

I could bite but I wont.... lets just say that at least 90% of mr2 owner in S.A. make the trip to MTC each yr.... doesnt say much for some of the other closer states?  Why would anyone want to move to any other state with less Mr2 action / involvement.
OK I had to have a little bite :-)

I think there will be even more SA guys next year... We'll outnumber everyone else at MTC at the rate we're going lol.
I wonder how many Eastern States people would ever come to Mallala for an event? (even if Mallala isn't as good a track as Wakefield)

I would be in for a 1.6 litre AW11 only class - would be loads of fun

STEVE (B24), anything we could do to assist with such a class??
We could bring a few adubs over at least.
