What are chances of a run as an invitational.  Don't know if I would run anything but the full circuit.  Depends on undulations etc in the other formats, car is very low.

You may be able to run the hillclimbs as they do not have any 'drop offs', plus the short circuit and the full circuit but the issue is fitting you in somewhere as you have a car which cannot really be on the track with any other car due to the speed and difficulty in spotting you. Have you driven the car with street cars before ? I wll also contact track management to see if they will give the go ahead for your car to circulate with regular size cars.

I will be running with assorted cars this weekend at a sprint round, I will let you know how it goes.  Usually for general practice days the sports cars like mine tend to get lumped with clubmans and formula cars (FF, F3 etc).

I would definitely be sensible about it, I am not a cowboy and frankly there is far more danger involved for me contacting a 1000-1300kg car than it is the other way around.

I have never run at Wakefield and this seems like a great opportunity to get a few laps in there with some good company.  Happy to run with headlights on if necessary to alert other drivers of my presence.

Obviously dont fit into any class but not at all interested in amassing any points, bit like taking a gun to a knife fight.  Only have slick tyres for the car, semi-slicks not available to suit.

Cheers,

James.

The last group at the TDC were very track polite - safety over ego was all that I saw. I'd like to think they'd do the same next year, even for you James.

I called management today. The lm type car cannot run with everyone else.
It would need its own session which will not work at MTC.
May have to buy a MR2 again!

If you have a number already on your car, let us know at registration & we should be able to allocate that number to you for timing.

For those travelling from interstate, if you are planning to arrive on the Saturday night or stay Wednesday night, you will need to pay WP separately, but if you can let us know, to make cabin/room allocations easier.

Less than 6 months to go.......................

Just booked my leave.......... including the Wednesday , so I can have a more relaxing drive home & I can stay & watch the "Chilli Challenge".    We should ring the pub & make sure the chef is going to be working that night.
(the accountant isn't happy that she will have to do payroll, aahhh well, ya get that, lol)...........

If possible "22" is my lucky number also I'm not from interstate but hope to stay a extra night if work permits
