:) yes

I didn't realise so many people would have number requests.  So far no double ups.

Thankyou Sharon!!

Just a little update on proceedings:
There was a change of management at Wakefield which was a concern. I have been working quite hard to keep everything in order. There was a price increase so I have stopped the early bird rate as its no longer viable. Pricing starts at $440 for everyone from previous years. I will be locking in a new price for newbies but it will not be anything like WTAC ( I find it hard to justify $1200 for 45 minutes of driving. Bathurst is cheaper!).
I will also be following up on camping if this has an appeal to people. Camping is available on request so I need to know if people are interested in this option.
Also, if we fill up the cabins (again), we can take advantage of using the living area in the cabins for more beds. This would require people to bring air beds/sleeping bag, etc but it would allow for another 3-4 people per cabin.
The other option is the booking of the house on the property next door to the track. This will sleep another 12 people. I have spoken to the owner in the past but have not exercised this option as we have not had the numbers.
2016 could be different.
I have been in discussion with a few people about the 'naming and classing of MTC'. The people who do not have the MR2 but have been supporting the event from day one would like some more 'goals' to strive for. Having outright victory is one but there are no smaller classes for these entrants. The option is having this established as 'Ultimate Trackday Challenge' for future events. This is classification for all entrants at MTC for respective classes while still having MTC. As its a predominantly MR2 event, it will stay this way with 30% of entrants being 'invited' cars to keep the event the only true MR2 multi stage competition event in Australia. Special vehicles (EVO, Lotus, massive powered modern cars) will only be eligible for there class, Special vehicles.
There is also the issue of the 'blend line' between modified street and circuit cars. Some cars are built as a circuit car without a cage. This has to be at least a half cage with a full cage preferred. For me, its a pain as I would need to establish another class for these 'in-between' cars. The reg's have been modified to allow any car in any class to be unregistered as long as it fits into the class. This provides some savings to those interested in having a car in the garage for these kind of events without having to put up with rego/fines/defects etc.
Garages:
Last year we exceeded the pit lane garage allocation. right now, we are 7 spots off filling the balance of the garages as we have 21 entries. Some of these garages can 'store' up to three cars. People are welcome to set up marquee's behind the garages so you can stick together with your 'crew'. There are 6-7 spots in front of the workshop but some of these will be taken up by a registration marquee, my car and a few others. Everyone else will be in the open garages opposite the café.
People looking to visit can park there cars in the grassy area between the café and the garages. Its a good look having the cars on display in this location.
Volunteers:
Anyone keen on filming the event? Anyone keen on photography again?
There are four people (so far) who have put up their hand to volunteer services for the event. A few more would be of great benefit on the Monday. Having some people on flags or photography in the flag points is a must. Everyone must wear think long pants and decent shoes due to the 'nature risk'.
Having someone in a car setting up the carious tracks I also a benefit. I personally enjoy it as I get to drive the track but having someone 'ferry' the photographers, set out the traffic cones, collect fallen car parts does help reduce down time. Must be able to seat four to five people.

Anyone interested in bringing simulator for the two days? Could be some light entertainment over the few days.

Cheers

Steve

I have been worrying about that. Are our dates still locked in?

Yes, our dates are locked in.
Hopefully we will get the numbers back in 2016. We now have 24.
I do not like increasing rates but it is very good value in comparison to many other motorsport formats. It also has a huge amount of passenger sessions which no other event has (aside from EVO nats which has double the amount of cars).

Don't worry about the price mate. People that complain about the price obviously have no idea what other events charge. I know mate, so I'll be there every year. My EVO mates have been doing this stuff for a long time too and they keep coming back.

Got my entry in , forgot I had not paid the first time I went on to enter. Have seen my name in competitors list , where did car pic come from? I think I like it better than one I submitted. After number 72 Sharron if that ok?
Definitely want the CAMS hillclimb kept in and would love to see the EVO special stage added as well. Anything with more twists in it is good for my car to try and get back on par with all the ones with heaps of power. 142 01 20 06 and counting down. working on car this weekend to make sure it is in good shape for this one as lost a lot of oomph with the cracked manifold this year.

I have looked at the EVO stage but it will not work within MTC. The only way to see this stage is to run another event. Something I have considered amongst other options.
I guess we may meet on the track before MTC as mine is getting close to being on the track.

I think there's a tyre shop in Goulburn. You should preorder the tyres about a week before the event, assuming that you want some good ones which may not be kept in stock.
