Rim Straightening

When I bought my car, the owner told me on the drive to my place that one of the rims was bent.
So I measured all 4 wheels, 2 were good and 2 have about .9mm lateral variance at one spot.
I'm surprised that amount would be a problem but a little research shows new wheels must meet a standard much
tighter than that.  Spoke to a straightening mob who wanted $200 per wheel to straighten, no painting. Seems a little rich for a 15 minute procedure. Do you know a reputable straightener in Sydney cheaper than that ?
The guy I spoke to suggested that if I put the bent ones at the rear I might not notice .9mm, but since I'm yet to paint them and the tyres are off, seems like I may as well get them done - but $400 ouch

Rang Mr Wheels (??) who said they do out of round straightening but not lateral buckles.
Seemed strange `as I expected rims to have sideways knocks  (clipping kerbs) more than the other.
I asked if he could recommend someone and he said Central Coast Wheel Repairs (?) at Gosford which is a 30 min drive for me. That guy spun 3 wheels that I had doubts about on his machine. One wheel was clearly buckled, another was a little bit and the 3rd he handed back to me.
2 days later and $100 - all fixed and time to paint them then get the tyres back on.
