Mallalar Track Practise

Calling in all Mr2 in SA to come out on 31st Oct.
The fastest time I know of is Ken Hastings 1:16.9582
Be good to see someone best this time in a mr2.
I wonder if B24 could beat it?

    I'd love to go again, but can't afford it atm.
    I went with the celica guys in september....only managed a 1:34 in my stock SW20 with cheap road tyres.

    Paint or not to paint?
    I replace my autopistia Front bar which I will repair and sell it.

    The wheel I brought from Steve at MTC 14

    At lot of work been put into this one. Had this in my shed since 2006.
     

     
    Just need a good ECU and lick of paint to finish it off.
    I running it at 17psi at 11.5 AFR with fuel reg and a cooler water temp on the standard ECU.
    I'm taken this out to test it out at Mallara on 6th of December. Before I bring it to MTC 15.
     
    I hope to get someone to join in at the track.

    Calling all Mr2 in SA to come out on 6th Dec for a practise.
    I'm testing my rebuild and setting it up for MTC 15.
    It would be good to have some company.
    Weather will be 28 Degree, should a good day.

    This is what can happen with a day at Mallala. This has made it an expensive day.

    Have not touch the tune. but at MTC 15 the waste gate plastic t piece melted and cause over boosting. And started the head gasket problem at a guess. It finally broke at Mallala.

    It'll Never retain its structural integrity, its a gen2 head, so its probably cracked/warped somewhere else as well :(

    I replace the t piece it it was running fine then it broke the head gasket on the track. I did not know it was dying slowly. Its was just guess it started at MTC15.
