Have to agree with xez. Why make someone feel unwelcome for no good reason?  Good luck with your search RHOK. It's getting harder and harder to find good clean unmolested MR2's as the years go by, but I completely understand your requirement to be discerning. Far too many once great MR2's have been ruined by people with poor taste and small… (I'm sure you can guess what I'm saying.)

Well, a little good natured ribbing has never been shied away from by me. That's just what came to mind when I read, "discerning mature age buyer" You'd have to have pretty thin skin to get upset by that. But if anyone felt it was too much, they must have missed on the intention.

RHOK hasn't made a comment about thinking Dude's pic was unnecessary. Hopefully he's seeing the light funny side of it too. Who knows he may have even half expected some ribbing with a post like that. I had a chuckle before Dude even put up the pic. Thought it depicted a "mature discerning buyer" very well.
Aaahhh well if RHOK changes his mind before a great 2 becomes available, he should still have fun in a rex or an evo, just not quite as much fun as a 2.
  
To the majority the following may apply "Silence implies consent" is a concept of social interaction, which states roughly that people tend to assume lack of response to an action as tacit approval of that action. I do not need to be a "keyboard" hero and try to be right or tough or whatever on the internet by making a retort of some type or try to prove that the perpetrator in some way is mentally disadvantaged -- that has already been self inflicted and self exposed by he/she.

discerning - having or showing good judgement.
If no clean Sw20 comes my way
I shall research the 2zz and turbo swap into the MR-S
