will be going back there anyway. its pretty.. and the sun sets in the right place.

rediculously, taken at 11pm, no light, no flash, middle of no-where (actually, my favourite location.. but still distancey..!)
impossible to focus. faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar too dark for autofocus, and so dark through the viewfinder that it was pretty much trial-and-error.
 
and then wow.. B&W settings. oh joy with the stupidity..!




the lack of boot and handbrake angle depresses me. :(

but aargh.. you're nuts! the Fujitsubo is one of my favorite things about the car!
as i mentioned a couple pages ago though; I'm still keen to grab a 5zigen border to get a bit more noise. they look like a goddamn motorbike cannon <_<

i honestly am still a huge fan of my tartan-heavy interior. i cant believe i haven't got sick of it yet..! ****s so cheerful!
fund it with lots of hours of work, for a long long time. its actually sad how bad it looks, since i genuinely put nothing before it..!
But you say there's $$$ in selling children eh? :P

for an update on this car..
Tuesday two weeks ago, my car staaaaaarted making some light scraping, scratching, grinding noises.. by friday it was rediculous.. and on saturday i stopped driving it.
took it to the mechanic on monday, and it turned out it was the rear bearing. 
ANNOYING, since the bearings, driveshafts, etc etc, were all new/reco 18months ago when i had the engine done. also annoying was the fact it managed to munt the hub..

urgh...
so new bearing, new hub, two days, and $400 later.. car came back. :)
just very ****ty the 18month old, 40,000km, NSK bearing was toast. i worry about the other side too, and the fact the **** bearing was replaced with ANOTHER new NSK bearing...
fukcit.. happy thoughts.. :P
 
Other annoying thing happened last thursday afternoon:

no joke.. this was not there before.. at all...
wasnt there at midday, and then bam.. that afternoon there is a crack big enough to hold a business card..! :O
other cracks on the left side of the dash have been held together with some strategically places stickers...

so it was time to start moving across to the right. :P

little more filling in to do.
 
and ALSO, went to the MR2 Nationals on the weekend. just cruised up and back on the saturday, but was awesome despite the shyte weather...

car was about as filthy as it gets. bothered me a bit since it makes it look like such a ****heap, but it is fun driving through **** once its already dirty... :)

was good to see you there man on saturday, but im must say id be lying if i said i didnt have fun the other two days, you really should have stayed back, sunday and monday was the best weather and even better roads
and yeah one of the committee member have your prize for you, you should be quiet happy with it.
ps - you should see my cars paint, doesnt look like its been resprayed at all

Just after driving home on Saturday on the most direct route possible... 3 hours and 15 minutes. i was so damn tired come sunday morning, it just wouldnt happen.
 
what's really ****ty is i should have stayed there that night. the minute i drove out of the car-park that afternoon (at 4.. seriously.. i stayed and chatted for nearly 6 hours..!) i realized i should have stayed and gone home Sunday night.
ah well. what can you do. its the way i do things... <_<
 
im still glad i went for the saturday anyway. as a mr2 cruise (up through the national park) it was fantastic. small group, fast, and fun. :)
 
what did i win anyway? i feel extra rude for piking now.. :(
