to be honest, they are absolutley rock hard.
on a smooth road they are stunning, but anything slightly bumpy they are out and out atrocious.. no joke. just HARD. bumpy country roads the car will be outrun by a camry, as the wheels spend more time in the air than on the ground. its not so much the 8k rears, but those 5-6kg fronts.. eeeck...

i like this. its damn entertaining...! i like cars to be a bit of a prick to drive.. just have something unique/quirky going on. I feel like im in a race car. :)
 
quality is also fantastic. I've been running mine for what would be not far off a year now, without a hassle. I'd have no hesitation in buying another set the minute one makes any noise. they're CHEAP!
 
 
 
basically, id get a ride in a BC'd Adub before you buy. you may or may not like it.
 
 

just had a little look in the brochure, and all the AW11 ones nowadays are 5kg front, 8kg rear. (cant see any reason you could sneak those down a bit with other existing springs. the shocks wont mind if its only a kg or so...)
funnily enough, saw the price of the spare parts on the australian website. chuffed with how cheap the **** is..! :S i feel like buying some spares for a quick recovery if anything goes shyte with them... :D

For a bit of a laff, I changed around the look of the car.
well, moreso because i bought a rad-tastic 80's 4-spoke 'Toyota' Momo (Option in Supra/Celica afaik?) which i excitedly put on... but then didnt match anything else :S
so on went my neat set of teardrop's, the old mudflaps, and the ski racks again. :P
Took a couple photos.. in a FILTHY scene. reaaallly ugly. sky legitimally is just grey, everythings dark, ground was wet, and its raining. ew..
but the car is a lol.. so im happy.





actually pulled the 50mm lens off my camera for once too! haha

heh.. yep. i reckon ill leave em on for the week. i think they look so sweet with all the stocky bits on..  especially with all the goofy accessories hanging off it. :P

nothing interesting to report, but a couple more recent photos.
pictures arent particularly nice. same old locations 1minute from home, and no tripod for the first couple. <_<




mudflaps, roof racks, wheel and steering wheel back off again... back to usual..

last few were taken with a 35mm f2 lens i just bought. nice to get some different angles.. sortof.. for once. :P
