I’m only selling because I have too many projects.
This MR2 AW11 is a pretty honest race / motorkhana car in fairly good street trim.
This car was a private import and has been a dedicated toy/ race car since its first owner.
I'm the third owner and the car is now on it's third engine setup.
The MR2 is an official cams log booked car and has loads of good quality bits in it.
- Bilstein shockers
- King springs
- Near new brake booster
- Steel interceptor rims (apparently rare..) with semi slicks

- 4AGZE Supercharged engine – Recently fully re-built

Notes:This is a race car, not a road car or a show car and it hasn’t been treated badly but I haven’t been bothered trying to make things like OEM or repair cosmetic issues.
The body has no major rust. There are small instances of light surface rust, but all panels are intact and there is not structural rust. Which is great for its age! – Also nothing in the usual places like rad supports.
Car has no vin as it was imported as parts and so can never be registered however in most states it is eligible for limited road use on club permit, as it is now. The previous owner did this to avoid tax. It also copped some hail late last year and there are few hail dints as an end result. As mentioned it has club reg at the moment, so test drives etc are available, but I’ve changed the exhaust since and it’s likely it wouldn’t pass club reg again without quieting it down a bit.
Honest foibles:- 30sec of cranking for a cold start, but idles and warms up with no trouble
- I’ve drilled the thermostate and set the fans up on a toggle switch because the cooling system was slightly modified by the previous owner. The heater core is not connected.
- AC is not connected also.
- I think the car would benefit from an aftermarket engine management system. It has loads of power and I think the potential isn’t full reached.
- Elec windows have varied degrees of working, but with a helping hand you'll get all up / down
