Winton 300 8-9/11/2014

This a round of the AASA Endurance championship which includes a 300km race at Wakefield Park, then Queensland with the decider at Winton Raceway in November.
Here is the review from 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPgT23lxTyk

Unfortunately my SW20 will not be running in 2014 with the plan to run in 2015. So I have organised a seat in a Nissan Pulsar Challenge cup car through Tampered Motorsports. There is a second seat available in the pulsar for anyone interested in one of the best experiences you will have driving a car. Certainly the preference would be the MR2 but there are a few other pulsar cup cars entered so its door to door racing with these guys for 300km's which is excellent driver development for anyone interested in stepping up from trackdays.
The event is televised so it is a taxable write off for those wishing to expose their business to a few thousand people while having a ton of fun.
Practice is on the Friday, qualifying on the Saturday and racing on the Sunday.
If there are people out there interested in working as a pit crew over the two days, please drop a line as help is always appreciated.

Its $1500 for the weekend plus accommodation. That's arrive and drive but I do like to go over the car to make sure everything is ok and the set up is right. I have sent the word out to a few people so hopefully I will have a fellow MR2 as a co-driver.
I have radio's, Hans device, Hans seatbelts and a few other thing I like to bring along.
Here is some footage from my drive in the Wakefield 300 2014 in a Pulsar

It is a pretty good deal but the offer is now closed as my co-driver from 2013 has put his hand up for the drive but there is a second Pulsar available for the same price. You will need a CAMS club racing license or a AASA National license. Pretty easy to organise.

There is a chance I will race my V6 MR2 in the sprint races over that weekend.
