am auto did the work for me, great guys and insane custom work, http://www.facebook.com/pages/A-M-Auto-Services/116487288393362

the manifold was $1000, but that quote i put up is what it is in total, plus a bit more because tial changes there wastegate so cost like 100 more. my 07 R6 has around 8000ks, never had any trouble other that it runs hot, nothing wrong but there is heaps of heat coming from the rad and hits my knees, keeps me warm but cant go for a spin to the shops in summer in my shorts. never knew what "fast" was untill i got on that thing, holy hell.

Manifold looks nice but why is it against the recommendations of all WG suppliers and at 90 degrees to the flow ?

sorry i don't know what you mean about WG??? and 90 degrees flow, why would that be bad? not much room in there and it has to go 90 degrees. no other way out of the engine??
edit: Wg = waste gate.. uuuhhhgggg. got it now. lol

Its more about pressure than flow from what some people believe. The Targa RX8 has its WG 800mm away from the turbo to deal with WG failure as its more about pressure and heat management than flow.
Looking forward to the updates

this is the one im using, it has water ports on it, im not using them because its a street car but if i need it i will add the water flow to the WG.

This what i mean

My mechanic said that it has to flow as best as possible. Keep the air flow moving so it doesnt heat up causing knocking

you won't have any "issues" with the WG mounted @90 deg, it's just not optimal for flow etc.

yeah i know, this method has been tested and works fine, and the angle is more like 60 anyway.

Not trying to rain on your parade, i like the turbo and the manifold etc.
but what happened to you getting an aftermarket intercooler
you do realise that the stock one is going to suffer heat soak quite badly with the bigger turbo etc.
you have got a custom manifold made up, bigger turbo and intake etc. and trying to tune it on a stock intercooler.. why??
