They carry more chassis rigidity, slightly less weight, aren't prone to leaking, and relatively rare in Australia...

They definitely make a better track car, but cruising along winding hilly roads with the roof off has its own appeal.

Taking nothing away from the car but dont most buyers of Mr2  buy them for the t - tops ?  This could be why its difficult to sell a hardtop

Depends what you like. I had a t-top, didn't like the leaks. I thought the t-top was cool when I first got it and went for a drive in the sun. Came back with a sunburned face and legs.

It was nice to have the tops off on a summer night when driving home from work or during a sunny winter day. But summer, I didn't like it. If I was going for a drive with the missus and wanted a break from nagging, the t-top being off was very handy.

I wouldn't have a t-top again if i had the choice between cars.

Wil's rebuild is in your garage isn't it??  You'll have plenty of room when that is finished.

Has Nick bought this car?
I know it well & would have bought it myself if I didn't already have 4 SW20"s in the shed!

Yes, and i'm still getting stupid offers through car sales.

Like this joker, "But so we don't waste both our time would you take 3500"

Could strip a few parts off it and have that much pretty fast i'd think.
